Brush Creek.

mb1post     mb2post

Marsh arch “rainbow curve” bridge, the original Route 66 bridge over Brush Creek, west of Baxter Springs.

A more modern bridge has replaced it, but the Brush Creek Bridge is still maintained and accessible. Built in 1923, it is the only remaining Marsh bridge on Route 66. It is on the National Historic Registry.

  1. Very nice to see this project continued.

  2. Beautiful bridge. Is it open to traffic or pedestrian use only?
